Millennial Wealth Management is a leading financial planning firm dedicated to serving the investment needs of millennials in Broomfield, Boulder and Denver.
We are MWM, a different kind of financial advisory firm dedicated to serving the needs of millennials. Our comprehensive financial planning service is unique in the investment industry, as it is a true partnership between the firm and our clients. No two client relationships look the same when working with us because nobody is in the same financial position with the same goals and life circumstances. If you want a cookie-cutter approach and a new product sold to you at every turn, we are not for you. If you want personal attention with a true understanding of your current financial situation and a plan to reach your future goals, give us a try. Our promise to you is to always put your interests first, which we committed to when we took the fiduciary oath.
We grew up in an age where financial literacy was not taught in school. So, if our parents didn't teach us about money we were left to figure it out on our own. Our Mission at MWM is to change the lives of millennials and their families through financial planning. We understand the importance of partnership and taking the time to educate our clients through the financial planning process. It's important that our clients know why we are recommending certain strategies, or why we utilize certain investment vehicles. At MWM, our goal is growth, both personally and financially. We hope to work with you soon!
Grayson Hofferber is the president and founder of Millennial Wealth Management, a fee-only registered investment advisor in Colorado serving clients of the millennial generation in the Denver and Boulder area, as well as other states virtually.
Grayson has been featured in industry publications such as “Financial Advisor Magazine,” “Advisor News” and “Investopedia,” as well as local publications of the “Broomfield Enterprise” and the “Boulder Daily Camera.”
As of 2018, Grayson has been in the financial services industry for eight years, holding roles as a broker with a major retail brokerage firm, pension and retirement-plan consultant, a private client banker working with households of $5 to $15M, and a financial planner before founding MWM. The varying roles and knowledge gained in the industry have prepared him for the unique needs of serving clients’ total financial planning picture.
As a millennial himself, Grayson understands that achieving financial independence is the new “retirement.” Clients choose to work with MWM because they want a financial advisor who understands them personally and financially, and will be able to serve their needs for a long time. The average age of a financial advisor is 51. Thirty-eight percent of all advisors plan to retire in 10 years, according to Cerulli Associates.
MWM believes that financial planning should be affordable and accessible. MWM is unique in the instance that comprehensive financial planning is delivered through a monthly subscription fee instead of large upfront planning fees. MWM has no income or net worth minimum requirements, but most clients are high-income earning young professionals or entrepreneurs. One of the benefits of the subscription model is having a financial advisor on retainer whom clients are expected to reach out for any, and all questions in regard to money. Clients also receive timely market information through the weekly market update videos, blog and an email newsletter.
Grayson enjoys helping clients see the power of saving through a developed financial plan and experiencing the big wins, such as when a client maxes out a retirement plan for the first time, becomes debt free or reaches financial independence.
Grayson resides in Broomfield with his wife and three children. He is very active in the local community. He serves as the chairman of the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce and ran for The Broomfield City Council in 2017. He is the founding member of HYPE: Helping Young Professionals Evolve, a networking and personal development group for young professionals in the Broomfield area. He enjoys sports and camping. When he is not working, you can find him enjoying local craft beer at one of the many area breweries, hiking in the mountains or just hanging out with the family at one of the local parks.
Heather Venechuk is the Director of Education for Millennial Wealth Management. In conjunction with working at MWM, Heather is also an academic advisor and an instructor at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her combination of a financial mind and passion for helping others have prepared her for helping to mobilize clients to make big changes to their future. Heather lives in Golden with her husband and two dogs. She can often be found hiking up South Table Mesa with her family. Outside of work, Heather is pursuing a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Colorado, Denver. Mack has been serving in the Financial Planning industry since the day he graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2016. Before joining Millennial Wealth Management, he has gained tremendous experience working for a boutique Investment Advisory firm serving retirement plans with over $10+ Million in assets as well as working for a highly-regarded firm that managed over $500 Million in assets.
When it comes to Financial Planning, Mack has adopted the philosophy that Millennials are seeking Financial Independence rather than the traditional path to retirement. Mack also believes that people achieve true happiness when they live life how THEY want to live it. With that in mind, Mack’s ideal clients have the desire to take the less-traveled route to Financial Independence and possess a coachable attitude to achieve it.
But for those who are not quite ready to work one-on-one with a Financial Planner but would appreciate personal finance tips, Mack has a weekly blog through Millennial Wealth Management that covers Financial Planning issues Millennials are currently facing. In addition to writing weekly blogs, Mack also became a regular contributor to Money and Finance Magazine. Although raised in Los Angeles and Nashville, Mack currently resides in Denver and can be found having a pint at one of the metro area’s micro-breweries, exploring the area’s numerous cuisine options and cooking gourmet food for friends and family. Mack is also a self-proclaimed mountain enthusiast, summiting many of Colorado’s 14,000 ft+ peaks and enjoys exploring Colorado’s alpine lakes and National Forests/Parks.
